Sanctuary and Memory.
Throw another log on the blazing fire
Fill your glass with whatever you desire
Come gather all around this old fireplace
This home, this sanctuary, this sacred space
Exchanging stories of bygone years
Sharing memories of laughter and tears
Of Christmas past and our childhood days
Some half forgotten memories, in the smoky haze.
Dancing flames flicker, then rise and fall
Leaping at the darkness, casting shadows on the wall
Crackling wood, devoured by flame
To rekindle a long forgotten name
Or to reveal a lost and forgotten face
To live again, just for a moment, in this place
From the glowing embers of Sanctuary
Sparks to life, such precious memory,
