The Places I’ve Seen. The Faces I’ve Been.

The Places I’ve Seen. The Faces I’ve Been.

I often envy people who can sing a song

Or can play an instrument and sing along

What would I exchange, if l had the choice

For the gift of song and a golden voice

To master any instrument, placed in my hands

And to play with my favourite bands

Any old guitar or banjo I could strum

In full harmony with the beat of a drum

Revealing my heart as my voice sings

Fingers that magically caress the strings

Plucking songs and words from the air

To create a melody so beautiful and fair

Of the places I have seen

And the faces I have been

Sweet music from deep in my soul

Classic ballads and Rock n Roll.
